Summer keeps on rolling by and life isn’t slowing down anytime soon. This weekend was no exception, jam packed with family reunions, an overnight trip to Muncie and having to babysit Sunday night at the end of it all.
We had to drive up to Muncie to pick up some things from my old house and decided to make a night of it with a few of our friends who are still in town or on their way out. We had dinner Saturday evening, followed by wine and conversation into the wee hours of the morning. Branden and I stayed in a hotel overnight and we all attended Mass together in the morning. And here’s what we all wore!
Trying to look cool, but I realized too late that these sunglasses are too big for my face and having my hair up makes it even worse.
My outfit was carefully crafted to fulfill both of the Instagram Style Challenges that I’m attempting for July.
The #momomod challenge for today was maxi skirt. Mine is from Burlington, which I paired with my brand new cowl neck top and v-neck cardigan from Ann Taylor, pulled together by the teal and gold necklace, also from Ann Taylor, to make it Easy Like Sunday Morning, for the #stylemejuly challenge. Shoes are from Payless. Watch is from Anthropologie.
Laura’s (aka Bridesmaid Lovely) outfit:
Skirt: New Directions (thrifted)
Shirt: Fashion Bug (?)
Cardigan: Old Navy
Shoes: (also) Payless
Necklace: gift from a friend
