This weekend started out with not much to do and the hope that I would be able to tackle some things around the house. It ended with a ‘not as clean as I would like’ house and me wondering where all my time went.
Visiting with family took up much of the weekend from shopping with my three sisters on Saturday afternoon, family rosary with my mom’s side of the family Saturday evening, sleepover with his sister and my oldest but still younger sister Saturday night into Sunday and visiting my grandmother in the hospital on Sunday night.
There may have also been several hours lost to marathoning of White Collar, but that was mostly friday night and I blame Branden for getting me hooked on it anyway. =D
Luckily for me, the weather has been wonderful lately with highs in the 70s and that refreshingly brisk 50-60 window in the mornings. Fall is my favorite season and September is one of my favorite months. October is too gloomy and November is only redeemed by the fact that it is my birthday month.
The clutch is new, just purchased this weekend, because I decided that I needed a large-ish but not quite purse sized bag to put my ‘not-quite-essentials-but-often-needed-items’ in for easy transport from work bag to church bag to weekend bag, etc. Something that would fit more than just a few cards and a phone, but small enough to slip easily into my work tote for easy carrying.
I spotted a champagne and rose colored one at Coach, but I’m going to try out this $12 version for a little while first before I consider dropping the serious cash. Speaking of Coach, I can’t get over their new collection! I haven’t been too crazy about them in past years, but the new line has started to convert me!
