Happy Pentecost everyone! I’m not always on the ball with liturgically correct outfits, but I like to follow the colors if I can and red is always a tough one for me. I naturally gravitate toward color palettes with less contrast and more harmony, and red is one of the most contrasting colors you can find.
I only have two pieces of clothing this shade of red and they are both dresses. It makes it easier because then I only have to worry about finding accessories to match, rather than putting together an entire outfit.
That’s part of the reason I love dresses so much, they’re just so easy!

It’s time for….
1. Do you have a land line?
No. We both use our cellphones for the infrequent phone calls we make and I’m pretty sure that we have unlimited minutes anyway, so paying for a landline would just be an unnecessary expense.
2. What is your least favorite food?
That’s difficult because I’m very odd when it comes to food. I like certain foods some ways but not others. Probably mushrooms or artichokes.
3. What’s on your summer reading list?
What ISN’T on my summer reading list? I’ve had no time for pleasure reading the past few years so now that I’m graduated, I need to catch up in the literary world.
I’m reading Jane Austen’s Emma on my iPad via the Kindle app. (Psst. It’s free!)
I also need to read the Divergent series by Veronica Roth. I’ve had the first one for several months now. It’s just sitting there taunting me. Haven’t seen the movie yet so I don’t know what to expect.
I’m sure there’s more, but I’m trying to take it slow while I ease back into reading for fun and not for school.
4. Is there something that people consistently ask for your advice on? What is it?
Hmm, not really. Maybe fashion and makeup, but that’s mostly just my sisters! I don’t think I’m experienced enough in any one area for people to think to ask for my advice.
5. What’s the most physically demanding thing you’ve ever done?
I try to avoid physically demanding things if possible, seeing as how I’m not much for exercise or athleticism in general. I would probably have to say my Jazz and Ballet dance classes are the most physically demanding things I’ve done. Cardio days were killer. That’s kinda lame, but what can I say?
6. How do you feel about massages?
I’ve never had a professional massage, so I don’t know for sure, but I think I’d like it.
