Heading home this evening and I get to spend the next 10 days at home, most likely the last time I will be spending more than a day or two living at home.
I have a list a mile long of projects and wedding things that I need to work on over break and I’m hoping beyond hope that a serious amount of them get checked off!
I’m a huge fan of Celtic Woman and I was super stoked when I saw that they were releasing a new album, it’s been too long! But then I realized that it wasn’t entirely new songs but a collection of their most popular songs and I was sad.
I’m also a huge fan of Celtic Thunder, who has produced a lot more original albums in the past few years than Celtic Woman has. They do repeat a few songs on certain CDs, but you usually get a bunch of new ones as well.
This is one of my favorites, from the Voyage album. Love, love, love!
The FI and I are submitting our apartment application on Monday! If we’re accepted, we will be able to move in mid-april! I’m so happy to finally have our own space and start making it a home! Getting to move in a few weeks early will be awesome as well, so we don’t have quite as much to stress about so close to the wedding.
As proven by this photo here:
I have a problem with resisting pretty things. Especially when said pretty things are on sale. This fault of mine results in an accumulation of pretty things like scrapbooking paper with no where near enough scrapbooks to possibly use it all.
So I decided I could use the pretty paper for something besides just scrapbooking, and here are two different variations of envelopes made from scrapbooking paper!
I’ve been going through a bit of an extrovert crisis this week with the realization of how little interaction I’ve had with my gals over the past few weeks and it felt like people didn’t understand why I was complaining about not getting to hang out and talk to people very much. It felt like the attitude was “Yeah, we’re all busy, we can’t have fun all the time, get over it.”
But for me it’s more than just hanging out and having fun, as an extrovert, it’s my way of recharging my batteries and re-energizing myself. And often one-on-one conversation will do a good job of helping me recharge, but sometimes I just need a big, lively, get together.
I feel like introverts get more credit because it seems normal for people to need ‘alone time’ in order to recharge, but for people to get energy from socializing and going to hang out seems contradictory sometimes, so I was excited when I found this article about extroverts and realized that basically all of the points applied to me in some way or another.
Yep, I can talk to people for two hours and feel more energetic at the end than at the beginning. It’s an extrovert thing.
I need some new luggage for my upcoming honeymoon and I have no idea where to start looking.
I really like Vera Bradley’s large duffle as a weekend bag, but the prints are hit and miss for me, I end up liking very few of them. For airplane luggage, I don’t even know what I want. Something somewhat cute and very spacious. Any suggestions?
