It’s almost March! And a new month means new phone backgrounds! Hoping to keep wedding and school stress at bay by reminding myself that the best is yet to come.
Backgrounds from Cuptakes app for iPhone.
Last weekend I went to Dance Marathon for the first time. I’m a senior now, so I figure it’s my last chance to do some of these things in school. There was a lot of standing and talking, even with leaving for more than half to go perform a Bach Cantata, but the end was fabulous and I’m glad I tried it out at least once!
Another thing that I had my last chance to try was the annual Clay Guild’s Chili Bowl sale. It’s somewhat expensive, so I could never justify buying one before, but this year is my last chance, so I decided to go for it. I’m happy with the color and size of the bowl I picked and I’m glad that I’ll have something unique and handcrafted as a souvenir of my college years.
This week I had the amazing opportunity to meet and perform songs written by the great Eric Whitacre!
It was incredible to be able to sing for and be conducted by Eric himself. His creativity and conducting style is just pure genius and it was so inspiring to meet him.
I got a picture AND an autograph! Eek!
It’s really time to get cracking on some of the wedding DIY projects that I have in the works, if I could ever find the time to round up helpers and whip some things out. I’m a little nervous about everything getting done…okay, a lot nervous. I should be able to check off quite a few things over spring break, but probably not as much as I hope.
Is it spring yet? March is supposed to be warm right? We’re supposed to be getting another 10 inches of snow this weekend or something crazy like that. What is up with that? Just. No. All done, don’t want any more. Whoever is praying for snow, stop. Stop it right now.
I get to go to Cancun for my honeymoon, I’m just gonna keep dreaming about that. Sun and sand but mostly sun. And warmth. and more sun. And hopefully lots of relaxing, sleeping and all around nothing doing. Yeah? Sounds like heaven.
I’ll get there, just like the Little Engine that Could.
