Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and I hope you all are having a wonderful time (hopefully) relaxing and having fun without too much stress! I’ll admit, the last few days have not been the most productive for me, but I’m setting up to actually get some important things done with the rest of my Christmas break!
Christmas Eve was spent at my uncle’s house with my dad’s side of the family. We went to Midnight Mass after and of course arrived late so we had to split into pairs and sit in four different places. I wasn’t sure how my Christmas outfit was going to work out, because it was a peplum dress and I was afraid the ruffles wouldn’t look good, but I think it worked pretty well!
For Christmas day, I went with a less formal outfit and actually didn’t get any pictures of my entire outfit. I just have one selfie shot I sent to the fiancé on my way to his house. I wore a grey and silver cardigan with a forest green scarf that had some shimmering silver stripes in it. The scarf is from Body Central, the only thing I’ve ever bought from that store, but I felt like it had the Christmasy feeling I was going for!
My most recent time-waster has been the game Tic Tactics. I blame MoH Blondie for inviting me to play. It’s a more complicated version of Tic Tac Toe and involves lots of strategy. I didn’t think I would like it because I usually can’t see the repercussions of my immediate actions (the reason why I don’t like chess) but I’m actually not terrible. And of course that’s what determines if I like a game or not, my ability to win at it. I’m not at all competitive or anything.
I updated my phone for the Christmas season, using the Cuptakes app. I purchased this a few months back when I was prettifying my phone and it has been totally worth the dollar I spent on it. It updates with new backgrounds for the seasons and holidays so I can constantly refresh the look of my phone.
I have a wedding ring!! Okay, technically the FI has it, but still, it has been purchased! Sadly, the matching men’s version was already sold, so we have to wait until January to get the other one. I promised I wouldn’t Instagram a picture of it until we got his, but I didn’t promise not to blog a photo! =D We still have to take it back and get it resized thanks to my midget fingers, but we have to take my e-ring back in anyway so we’ll just do it all at the same time.
In other news, I didn’t win the lottery. I got a lotto ticket from my aunt for Christmas and well, I didn’t win. Sad. Guess I’ll just have to continue life as a poor college student until I graduate and start living life as a poor adult with an art degree.
This is what happens when my sister and I are bored on Christmas day and my fiancé has my phone. I have no idea what is happening in this photo. None at all. Here you go! Hey, at least you can see my outfit a little better in this one!
