My first two shoe options ended up not working out, so I continued my search for the perfect wedding shoe!
I had a coupon for DSW, so I kept looking for something from them that I could possibly use. Since I couldn’t find something that had everything I was looking for, I decided to look for something in a color that would work that I could just add embellishments myself.

I loved the way this shoe crossed in the front, and the color was much less dramatic than the first one I found. I was unsure how the back of the shoe would look because it had a zipper, and in the end, the shoe was too big anyway, so it didn’t really matter.

This was a strong contender, it fit well and had a nice space for me to add my own embellishments, but I realized that the dark navy color wouldn’t come across in pictures the way I wanted it to. I was worried that it would end up looking like I was wearing black shoes and that’s certainly not what I wanted. So I set them aside as a back-up plan and kept looking .
In the end, the winner was a Simply Vera Vera Wang shoe from Kohls. I found it while browsing online and it had everything I was looking for, the color, the bling, the peep-toe. And it was on sale, which made it even better! I ordered it in two sizes, just to be safe. The size 6.5 fit perfectly and now all I have to do is practice walking in them!

Isn’t this color amazing? I think they’ll look great in photos!
