I recently received my December shipment of the Tarte Beauty Without Boundaries Set from QVC and I’ve been experimenting with the shadow and blush palette that was included in this shipment.
I got the information for this set from one of my go-to blogs for all things beauty, Musings of a Muse.
The set includes
- a BB cream primer,
- a BB cream concealer/corrector,
- Lipsurgence Power Pigment
- Lights Camera Flashes mascara
- Inner Rim eyeliner
- Amazon Escape eye and cheek palatte and
- a makeup bag
all for $59!
The BB cream has a very silky smooth texture as a result of the primer formulation. It feels a lot like the Smashbox silicone based primers, so if you like those, you’ll probably like the texture of this. The color of the primer and the concealer is a bit on the yellow side for me, but when I top it with a lighter powder, it’s not noticeable.
The Lights Camera Flashes mascara is one of my favorite mascaras right now, especially for going out or other special occasions. It gives my lashes such a boost in both length and volume. The Inner Rim liner is great as well, with an extremely thin point for precise lining. It’s soft and smudgy, so it doesn’t stay in place forever, but it has decent staying power.
This is my face of the day using most of the products from this kit. I also used Benefit Hello Flawless foundation over the BB primer and Almay I-color liquid shadow + primer as an eyeshadow base.
As with all Tarte products, they are cruelty free and vegan friendly, formulated without parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulfate or gluten.
