This Sunday was a ‘rest up and get ready to head home for Thanksgiving’ day. I’m ashamed to say that I accomplished absolutely nothing, but sometimes you just need a day like that. We have a short week since Thanksgiving break starts on Wednesday, but those two days separating you from going home feel like the longest in the world.
Here’s what I wore to Mass!
Skirt: Ann Taylor LOFT (from an antique/thrift store in Cinncinati)
Pink Top: Ann Taylor LOFT (thrifted)
Cardigan: Old Navy
Necklace: Lia Sophia
Shoes: American Eagle by Payless
I pulled this skirt out from the back of my closet this week, this is the first time I’ve worn it since before summer. It’s usually one of my winter staples because of the heavy tweed and I remembered it as fitting very well and being a favorite, but it fit much looser than I remembered. The FI said he thinks I’m looking thinner, but I don’t see it and I certainly haven’t been working out or changing my eating habits at all. I just hope it doesn’t continue, or else I’ll end up with no clothes to wear!
Have you ever pulled something out of the back of your closet to find that it doesn’t fit the way you remember?
